Traders who want one-step futures evaluations and a high profit-split story keep landing on two menus: Lucid Trading (LucidFlex / LucidPro / LucidDirect) and My Funded Futures (Flex / Rapid / Pro).
They are not clones. Lucid splits the tree by product SKU (simple Flex vs structured Pro vs skip-eval Direct). MFFU splits by payout personality after a shared-style evaluation (daily Rapid vs winning-day Flex vs biweekly Pro).
Important: Lucid remains PENDING verification on PropFirmElite. Numbers below are research snapshots from catalog + public help — re-check the Lucid firm page, the My Funded Futures firm page, and each firm’s live docs the day you pay.
LucidPro trades simplicity for structure: often faster pass potential, but DLL on larger sizes and a buffer-heavy funded payout model. LucidDirect skips evaluation for higher upfront cost and then typically enforces a tighter consistency ceiling (commonly discussed around ≤20%) for payouts.
Buy the SKU name on the receipt. Flex ≠ Pro ≠ Direct. Details: Lucid firm page.
$50K Rapid — ~$157/mo, same target/DD class, different funded lifestyle
Flex: winning-day cadence, often 80% split. Rapid:daily withdrawal style marketing at 90%, with sim-funded drawdown behavior you must respect. Pro: slower cadence (often ~every 14 calendar days) at 80%, for traders who want fewer payout ops.
Pro often adds profit goal + consistency + buffer. Direct often adds tighter consistency because you skipped the filter of an evaluation. If you buy Direct thinking it is “Flex with no homework,” you will be surprised.
Rapid: 90% + daily story after buffer/minimum rules clear — different mechanical path than LucidFlex’s five green days.
Flex / Pro: commonly 80% with winning-day or biweekly-style schedules.
If your only goal is “highest split + simplest post-fund rules,” shortlist LucidFlex and MFFU Rapid, then decide whether you prefer Lucid’s five winning days / no buffer framing or MFFU Rapid’s daily framing (including Rapid’s trail behavior).
Lucid sells one-time evaluation (and Direct) SKUs. List examples above can be cut by public codes (e.g. VAULT on homepage marketing) — confirm at checkout; PropFirmElite may still point CTAs at the plain site until a tracked affiliate is wired.
MFFU is often shopped as a monthly evaluation fee with $0 activation. Cheap if you pass in week one; expensive if you grind for 90 days.
Never compare “$50K price” across firms without matching fee model. A $140 LucidFlex one-time is not the same product as three months of MFFU Rapid.
LucidFlex: EOD trailing MLL is the usual mental model; eval often without a hard daily loss line — still respect risk of ruin on the trail.
LucidPro: watch DLL language on larger sizes.
MFFU: eval DLL often absent on Flex/Rapid/Pro in catalog; Rapid sim-funded may feel more like an intraday trail product — read plan docs, do not assume Flex rules after you buy Rapid.
Lucid is a real differentiator if you live in TradingView or a Rithmic DOM (Sierra, Bookmap, Jigsaw, Quantower, MotiveWave, MultiCharts, ATAS, etc.) plus Ninja/Tradovate. See Lucid Trading.
MFFU is frequently chosen for Tradovate / NinjaTrader / TradingView plus multi-account and copy-trading style tooling. See My Funded Futures.
Match the firm to the platform you will execute on for 90 days. Platform friction fails more accounts than a 0.5% target gap.
Which firm pays 90%?
Lucid’s Pro/Flex/Direct funded docs advertise 90/10. MFFU pays 90% on Rapid and commonly 80% on Flex/Pro.
Which is cheaper?
Depends on promo state and days-to-pass. Lucid is one-time list (+ codes like VAULT). MFFU is often monthly. Run the math.
Do either charge activation fees?
Lucid documents no activation on eval→funded upgrade in catalog language. MFFU markets $0 activation across Flex/Rapid/Pro.
Is Lucid safe to buy while PENDING on PropFirmElite?
PENDING means you must verify help-center rules the same day — not that the firm is fake. Do not skip official docs.
Can I run LucidFlex and MFFU Rapid together?
Only if you can journal two rule engines. Most traders should pick one SKU and master it.
LucidFlex is compelling when you want 90% without a funded buffer, EOD MLL, and a wide platform list — with the explicit PENDING caveat.
MFFU Rapid still wins many “daily 90%” shoppers; MFFU Flex/Pro win traders who prefer 80% with a different cadence and tooling stack.
