Affiliate disclosure: PropFirmElite may earn a commission if you buy through our links. That does not change this status note. We are summarizing Alpha's own July 2026 posts — not inventing remaining payout-batch percentages.
On July 12, 2026, Alpha Futures discontinued the Premium plan and lost its NinjaTrader / Tradovate (and TradingView-via-Tradovate) partnership. Remaining Zero, Advanced, and Direct accounts on that stack were migrated to AlphaTrader. This is the "what you should do" companion to our earlier platform-access note: Alpha Futures loses NinjaTrader and Tradovate access. Firm page: Alpha Futures.
The partnership with NinjaTrader — including Tradovate and TradingView, which connected through Tradovate — ended
Premium was discontinued
Active Premium accounts were refunded and closed (the banner says refunded automatically)
Existing Zero, Advanced, and Direct accounts on NT/Tradovate/TradingView were migrated to AlphaTrader
From the follow-up "Partner Exit / Premium Accounts" post (Update 2):
Premium accounts already in "approved for pay" would be paid in batches
Those show as "Premium Pending" in the dashboard
The first batch equaled 10% of outstanding Premium Account payouts
Alpha said it would email remaining traders on timelines
Active Premium users were still receiving refunds — that part did not change
Zero & Advanced payouts were described as returning to same-day processing "as of tomorrow" in that post (a dated operational claim — confirm current SLA on your dashboard)
Later batch percentages were not published. We are not guessing 20%, 50%, or "the rest." If your ticket is still open, get the number in writing from Alpha.
This is not a full firm shutdown in the Funding Ticks sense. Alpha is still selling Zero / Advanced / Direct (and its homepage has since marketed other SKU language — confirm live checkout). Compare: Funding Ticks shutdown.
It is a catalog + infrastructure break: one plan killed, one platform stack removed, payouts for a dead plan batched.
Assume you cannot buy Premium again. Official: discontinued July 12, 2026.
If you were an active Premium user: official language is refund and close. Confirm the refund hit the same card/method and that the account is actually closed.
If you were "approved for pay" / Premium Pending: official first batch = 10% of outstanding Premium payouts. Ask support, in writing:
What percent of your approved balance was in batch 1
Whether any later batch has a published percent (none on the page we used)
Whether the remainder is cash, refund, or still "pending"
Do not model old Premium caps ($3,000 → $6,000 tier language, activation-fee fork) as something you can still purchase. That product is gone.
Do not treat leftover Premium dashboards as tradable. If Alpha closed the account, stop entering risk.
Do not expect NinjaTrader or Tradovate to work. Official: those connections ended July 12. Remaining accounts on that stack moved to AlphaTrader.
Confirm you can log into AlphaTrader (and any still-listed stack: WealthCharts, Quantower, Deepcharts on Alpha's platforms page).
Confirm your eval progress, qualified status, and drawdown floor survived the migration. Get a screenshot + ticket if a number moved.
If you are waiting on a Zero/Advanced payout, confirm current processing — the July post's "same day as of tomorrow" is not a standing SLA we will reprint as eternal.
Direct was named as a remaining plan. Alpha's July 12 comparison page did not publish a full Direct size/price matrix. We will not invent Direct fees or payout caps. Confirm live before you buy or add size.
These figures are from Alpha's own comparison article (kept for historical accuracy on that page). Premium columns are historical. Direct dollars were not fully published there.

Shared official mechanics on that page: one-step eval, EOD trailing MLL, 90% performance split, payouts after 5 winning days of $200+, up to about four times per month. Full review: Alpha Futures Review 2026.
Platform concentration: one vendor (NT/Tradovate) can remove a firm's stack in days
Plan sunsets: a plan launched May 1, 2026 (Premium replacing Standard) was gone by July 12, 2026
Batched payouts: when a firm says "we will pay," ask what percent, which batch, which date
Invoice disputes going public: Alpha's Update 1 is a partner-exit narrative (overcharge dispute, $225,700 "limbo," $1.2M paid July 6). Treat it as Alpha's side. We are not adjudicating the invoice fight.
Is Alpha Futures shut down?
No. Premium is discontinued. NT/Tradovate access ended. The firm stated remaining Zero / Advanced / Direct accounts moved to AlphaTrader.
What percent of Premium payouts have been paid?
Official published figure: first batch = 10% of outstanding Premium payouts. Later percents were not published.
Can I still use NinjaTrader with Alpha?
Official July 12 notice: no. See the NT/Tradovate access post.
Should I buy Premium if a checkout page still shows it?
Official: discontinued. If a stale page still lists it, do not pay until support confirms in writing that it is a live SKU — we would treat that as a website lag, not a relaunch.
Where do I read current rules? Alpha firm page plus Alpha's live help center. The comparison article still contains pre-July platform sentences in the body; the July 12 banner is the override.
Premium's shutdown is a product kill + partner exit, not a quiet fee tweak. If you are owed money, the only official cash figure Alpha published for the Premium backlog is batch one at 10%. Everything after that is a support conversation, not a blog guess.
